How We Work With You

There are three ways to engage us

Our aim is to provide the maximum value to our clients. We have developed three easy ways to engage us.

Option 1

Both the client and project easy have been involved in this type of work or project before. You know what needs to be done and know what the costs are likely to be… and so do we.

We provide you an agreed fixed price; we get on with the work and let you know how it’s progressing throughout or simply let you know when we are done. It’s a low risk engagement for both of us.

Option 2

Perhaps only one of us have been involved in this type of work before. There is a medium risk for this project as there is some knowledge to be learned during the project.

We both agree to a core cost that we feel is required to complete the project. We then agree on a contingency budget that can be set aside for any unseen circumstances. Having available budgeted additional funds will ensure a very successful outcome. We both work together seamlessly with the aim of not using the contingency funds. If we both agree that we need to access the contingency for specific needs then we can. It’s easy to manage as it’s already set up and the project doesn’t suffer from any delays or shortcuts.

Option 3

These are the exciting projects. Where we are cutting a new path for both of us. Possibly neither one of us has done this type of work before. These carry some degree of high risk.

Therefore this becomes our most transparent method of working. We work closely together on this and communication is high. We might agree on an estimated target cost for the total work or, we might agree on a cost rate for the first milestone only. Then agree on the following stage only after the first is done. Whichever way; we keep you regularly informed on the costs for the labour and the cost of the material. Along with regular updates on what the team has completed, what the team are currently doing, and what the team are planning next.
